A brief description of the digital sales funnel

This digital sales funnel describes each section of an online sale and how to ultimately increase your bottom line. 


Increase brand awareness at Stage one by generating leads through email, search engine marketing, and social media marketing. Have exceptional content for these inbound marketing techniques to draw users to your brand.  This is the 'awareness' stage. 

At Stage two, convert the interested users into customers with easy to use landing pages, and an informative, well written and visually appealing website. This is the 'interested' stage. 

Stage three focuses on retention and customer loyalty through a number of various methods. By keeping a  superior CRM system and following up on customers at regular, seasonal or periodic intervals, the relationship is nurtured and trust is built. Also called the 'decision' stage. 

Stage four enhances sales by increasing the number of customers and frequency of customers passing through this section.  This is called the 'action' stage'
